What we're working on

Wildlife Innovations currently provides services that range from San Diego to the San Francisco Bay area. Some of these services include providing predator surveys and management for federally listed species, including the Western Snowy Plover (Charadrius nivosus nivosus), California Least Tern (Sternula antillarum browni), Light-footed Ridgway’s Rail (Rallus longirostris levipes), Burrowing Owl (Athene cunicularia), and the desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii). We provide injured wildlife rescue and support the Oiled Wildlife Care Network during oil or other contaminant spills. We provide services to active military installations, including Naval Base Coronado, Naval Base Point Loma, Naval Base San Diego, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, and Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos and are involved with the Department of Defense’s Readiness and Environmental Protection Integration (REPI) program. Some of our work occurs on state lands, including the San Elijo Lagoon, Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area, Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, East Bay Regional Parks District, and the San Francisco Bay area. Our projects also occur on other federally administered properties in Mission Bay and in the Cities of Los Angeles, San Diego, and Foster City. Additionally, we assist airports with surveys, including Wildlife Hazard Assessments, and implement management of hazardous wildlife to reduce the chances for plane strikes and loss of life. We also provide environmental compliance support for construction projects (including for special status species). Please contact us for information about our additional projects.
